Palmer's Music History

The story of Palmer's Music began when Oril Williams (O.W) came down with Rheumatic Fever when he was 10 years old. A doctor prescribed playing a woodwind instrument to help with recovery, and thus the love affair began...

O.W. went on to play piccolo in the Army during World War until 1920 when he went on to join The Barnum and Bailey circus once again to play picolo. While there, he learned to play the tenor sax. When he and fellow colleague's instruments needed repair, O.W. took matters into his own hands and learned the trade of repairing instruments. He proceeded to live a long and full life always intertwined with music and the instruments that created it.

He then passed that trade on to his son, Earl, then Earl to Kevin and then Kevin to Matthew. Today, Kevin and Matthew remain passionate and involved in all facets of the woodwind and brass instrument business.
